By the end of December, the ground floor of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya should be finished, and expectedly on January 22 there will be a consecration ceremony.

At a ceremony-related event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to take part in the installation of an apparatus on the temple's "shikhar" for Ram Mandir Ayodhya inauguration that will allow sunlight to fall on the deity's forehead on Ram Navami. About 10,000 people, including saints and seers, are expected to attend the ceremony, according to the temple trust.

Temple Construction Committee Chairperson Nripendra Mishra has said that the final date is yet to be communicated by the Prime Minister's Office for the Ram Mandir Ayodhya inauguration. Mishra added that plans are in motion to create an apparatus that, when installed on the temple's ‘shikhar’ will cause sunlight to briefly touch the forehead of the deity within the sanctum sanctorum on the day of Ram Navami each year. He said that scientists are supervising its design and that it is being constructed in Bengaluru.

An engineer from the Ayodhya Development Authority stated that although Rs 8.5 crore would be allocated for facade control guidelines on the establishments located across Ram Path and Bhakti Path, funds had also been set aside for terracotta designs, grand entrance gates, mosaic art on walls, and aluminum murals to greet visitors arriving from the Lucknow-Gorakhpur highway. Although the facades of all the buildings will share the same design and color scheme, the authority has also developed the concept for the metal rolling shutters of commercial buildings and LED signage for stores.

In context with Ram Mandir Ayodhya Construction status, Vishal Singh, the vice-chairman of the authority said that the city's main thoroughfares will resemble an outdoor gallery. When exploring the Ram Mandir Ayodhya Design, visitors would get the impression of setting out on a cultural and spiritual adventure. Senior citizens would find it convenient to have over 3,500 chairs available. A budget of Rs 4.17 crore has been set aside for concrete planters with integrated seating.
